Gaskets
HKS Metal head gaskets are constructed
from multiple layers of steel to ensure proper head to block sealing, even
under the most severe conditions. The special metal used in the construction
of the head gaskets is resistant to both heat and corrosion. All
gaskets are coated with a special fluorine rubber coating to provide the
ultimate sealing.
Stopper Type:
The HKS Stopper Type Gasket is our most
effective as it consists of the maximum layers of plates for the best possible
seal. The better seal is due to a stopper ring around each combustion
chamber.
Bead Type:
The HKs Bead Type Gasket is our most popular
gasket. This gasket is very effective for sealing because of its
flexibility. The raised bead around each combustion chamber ensures
a tight seal for high compression and high boost conditions.
Grommet Type:
The HKS Grommet Type Gasket employs a
metal grommet around each combustion chamber, ensuring a tight seal between
the cylinder head and engine block.
