Exhaust Systems represent another performance restrictive element of many stock vehicles. HKS offers bolt-on replacements for OEM exhaust components that reduce backpressure and thermal stress, allowing engines to breathe more easily and create more power and torque.
Each HKS exhaust system is vehicle specific, designed for only a particular engine/vehicle configuration. Using extensive computer controlled flow analysis, dyno testing and precision fitment design, HKS exhaust systems produce maximum horsepower without dramatically depleting low-end torque. Each HKS exhaust system is flanged and comes with all gaskets and hardware, to provide the easiest direct bolt-on installation possible. Additionally, all HKS exhaust systems utilise factory mounting points and hanger locations and are emissions and sound legal.
As pipe diameter and design are critical to the characteristics of exhaust flow, HKS exhaust systems feature high-quality mandrel bent piping. Mandrel bent piping is superior to press-bent piping as there is no reduction of inner diameter in bend areas, resulting in less restriction. HKS Drager and Hiper exhaust systems utilise stainless mufflers and aluminised steel piping with a baked on coating while Sport and Turbo Exhaust systems are constructed with aluminised steel piping and muffler assemblies. Each system ensures exceptional durability in all climates and weather conditions.
