AFR
(Air Fuel Ratio Regulator)
The HKS AFR is a fuel adjusting device
that regulates the Air/Fuel ratio by changing the airflow voltage output
to the vehicles factory computer. The AFR was designed for
vehicles that are lightly tuned (air cleaner, exhaust system, etc.) and
that need only slight fuel adjustment. The 12 setting adjustment
indicator allows the user to richen or lean the stock settings by approximately
1.0 A/R point in either direction (richer or leaner). Each notch
on the adjustment indicator will adjust the A/R by approximately .2 of
an A/R point. This enables the user to search for the best possible
set up. HKS offers two types of AFR's, depending on the type of factory
air metering system. The D-Type AFR is designed to work with vehicles
that utilise a pressure sensor that is measured by speed density.
The L-Type AFR is designed for vehicles with an air flow meter with voltage
readings measuring from low to high.
FCD (Fuel
Cut Defencer)
The FCD is an electronic device developed
to override the high boost fuel cut function of factory turbocharged vehicles.
The FCD will widen the area of high boost which allows the vehicle to attain
a much higher boost setting. The FCD installation is designed for
a simple "splice" into the VPC/F-Con or factory ECU harness.
