The heart of the Audi A4 and PASSAT 1.8T Turbo Kit is the higher output K04 turbo manufactured by 3K Warner GmbH, an O.E. supplier to Audi and Volkswagen. NEUSPEED includes a hi-performance P-Chip that is programmed to take advantage of these serious bolt-on performance parts. Boost pressure is raised to a maximum of 15 psi, ignition timing and air/fuel ratios are modified, and the rev-limiter and top speed govermor are raised. Your ECU must be set to NEUSPEED for the P-Chip installation. However, no other modifications are requirede to install the K04 turbocharger. In addition, this kit includes Beru Ultra-X 4 electrode spark plugs, a 180° F. fan switch, a 5-bar fuel pressure regulator, EGT guage and thermocouple, and all required gaskets and hardware.

A high performance exhaust system must be used with the K04 upgrade kit. NEUSPEED offers the following components as add-on options:

Extrude Honed factory exhaust manifold
T304 stainless steel cat-back exhaust including downpipe. (Specify automatic or manual transmission.)
